WhatsApp link generator for clinics

Type your clinic's WhatsApp number and, if you like, the first message a patient should see. You get a link that opens a chat with your clinic.

Link generator

Make your clinic's WhatsApp link

+91

Paste it any way you have it: with spaces, +91 or a leading 0. It gets tidied up for the link.

This text is typed into the patient's chat box. They can change it or delete it before sending.

Your link

Type your clinic's number above to see the link.

How this is made: https://wa.me/ followed by 91 and your 10-digit number, then ?text= and your message written in link-safe characters. The link is built on this page. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.

Where to put it

Put the link where patients already look

Anywhere a patient can tap a link, they can start a chat with your clinic.
  • Your website

Put a "Chat with us on WhatsApp" button on the home and contact pages. Copy the button code from the tool above.

  • Google Business Profile updates

An update on your Business Profile can carry a button with a link. Paste your WhatsApp link there.

  • Instagram and Facebook

Paste the link into the website or link field on your clinic's profile, so patients can message from there.

  • Emails and text messages

Add it under your clinic name in emails, and in any text message you send patients, such as after a missed call.

How it works

What the link is made of

WhatsApp calls this click to chat. The link has up to three parts.
  1. 1.

    https://wa.me/

WhatsApp's own short address for starting a chat.

  2. 2.

    91 and your 10-digit number

The number in international format: country code first, with no plus sign, spaces, dashes, brackets or leading zero. The tool removes those for you.

  3. 3.

?text= and your first message (optional)

The message is written in link-safe characters, so a space becomes %20. That is why the link looks longer than the message you typed.

Questions

Common questions

Is this WhatsApp link generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. Make as many links as you need.

Is my number saved or sent anywhere?

No. The link is built on this page, in your browser. Your number and message are not saved, and nothing is sent to Medslots or anyone else.

Not on this page. Any QR code maker can turn the link into a code. Scan the printed code once with your own phone to check it opens a chat with your clinic.
